The first litter born to MoKa & Hunter 3/17/02
MoKa was a GREAT mother . Raising 8 healthy Chocolate Lab puppies ( 4 female - 4 male )in our home,( not in some kennel ) with NO runts ! She allowed anyone we invited in to interact with the new puppies. From birth they were exposed to real pheasant and duck wings, puppy dummies, decoys, other dogs, children, weigh scales, and thunderstorms ( on CD ) everyday. Each puppy was weighed to the ounce daily. We commit ourselves to all the puppy activities we had always wished those that whelped our original dogs would have done. This past litter , born March 17 of 2003 has left a bad taste in the mouth . After all the requests for puppies out of MoKa during pheasant & duck season, I gave in and whelped another litter. When the pups were ready, all of a sudden evryone wanted to see if they could get one, then no calls. I sold the litter for 100.00 each which is exactly what we had in each pup. So when everyone wants a puppy out of MoKa this winter while she is working. Forget it .... You can go buy some 250.00 lab out of some puppy mill that you have never seen the parents work before. Good Luck. PS Jack is now 14 months old and just about a finished dog. He is the only dog for sale out of my kennel at 5,000.00 and the price goes up as he gets more experience. Good Hunting. Rob
